Health Day 2019
After the success of our first health day in 2018, it was clear to us that there will be a Health Day again in 2019. But this year there were no different stations that could be "passed through" by our employees, but the BGM team has organized together with the AOK an information day with topic "Life Style Fitness". For interested employees, a screening took place in which the body fat percentage, muscle mass, BMI and water content in the body were measured. Following the screening, employees were provided with clever tips to improve, if they had, low scores. After the screening our staff learned about AOK's "Fit and Slim Programme" which helps to burn adipose and to build up muscles. Above all, a well-balanced diet, drinking at lot of water and doing exercises play a very important role. Finally, it was put into practice. Our colleagues were shown how they can include little active-breaks into their daily (work) life. All of them practiced easy but effective exercises at their working place together and took home valuable tips and tricks on the subject of doing exercises. Conclusion of our Health Day 2019: It always does not have to be the gym. A lot of good exercises can be done in a few minutes, even the work place. Active-breaks have have a positive impact on body and mind.
