The brand RIDDER was first launched in1949 and since then a popular brand for household and bathroom items. Whether shower curtains, bathtub liners, grab handles, bath mats, soap dispensers, etc. many of our articles are beloved accessories or everyday helpers. For some years now many people have been shopping more and more online, so we decided years ago to sell our items directly to the end customer in Germany via our own online shop www.badshop24.de
Since 2015 you can find us on Facebook, where we regularly run small prize draws and report about the latest news and events in and around our company. From now on you can also find us on Pinterest, YouTube und Instagram!

Especially in these days we are happy if we can bring a little bit of joy into the world. Last week our portion of joy went to the animal shelter in Ransbach-Baumbach. We sent out returned bathroom carpets for the animals. Many dogs and cats as well as the team there were happy about our small donation. A member of the team recorded the cute reactions of the animals, which put a smile on every ones face.
The corona crisis controls us worldwide and has huge impact on our private and public life. This does not leave us unaffected, but we want to continue as much as possible. In order to still provide you with bathroom equipment we have undertaken a lot of actions in our company departments such as administration, production and shipping, to protect all our employees from the virus. Through this, we are able to send out goods (please note that it could come to restrictions partly).
However, please respect the following appeal:
If you can, and not urgently need to, don’t leave your house or flat and stay at home. Help to flatten the curve and strictly follow the hygiene recommendations. At this point, we praise and thank all our employees, all nurses, care-givers, doctors, cashiers, the police, the fire brigade, volunteers and everyone who helps us through this tough time.
Especially on stressful days people often eat chocolate or cookies. Both ot them release endorphins, but to be honest – they are beither good nor healthy for our body. Therefore, together with the managing directors, the RIDDER operational health management team (OHM) decided to introduce healthy and delicious snacks. Every month every department receives large baskets with fresh fruits from a local store.
Why fruits?
Because we care about the health of our employees. The consumption of fruits strengthens our immune system, lowers cholesterol, has a beneficial effect on blood pressure and helps to protect from heart diseases and vascular blockage.
Of course, regional fruits have priority for us, this is why we decided to work with REWE Pebler situated in Nassau, who consciously pays attention to mainly selling fruits and fruits from our region.
For five years we support the ‘Aktion Mensch’ organization by buying their annual lottery tickets and give them each of our employees as a little Christmas gift. With that, we not only bring joy to them but we support social projects at the same time. ‘Aktion Mensch’ is completely financed by the sales of the lottery tickets. The social organization helps to improve the living conditions of humans with handicaps, children and teenagers. Around 3.9 billion euros went into the funding for social projects. We are proud to be a port of the “Das-Wir-Gewinnt” project and will continue to support it annually by buying their lottery tickets for our employees.
